If you were to list five factors that might influence your choice of a nominee for supreme court justice and defend those factors, what would they be.

1) Be a judge for a long period of time
2) Not involved in any scandals or the like
3) Not entirely on either extreme of the spectrum liberal / conservative
4) Has a known track record on specific important issues
5) Reasonable personality (ie. would not enter an issue with a blind eye towards one side or the other but would consider every argument made although this could and probably would sort of conflict with #4 there but hey, our entire system of government is based upon conflicting interests and powers so I don't feel too bad about this)
