Moving to Orlando in two weeks...need help on location?
My boyfriend and I are moving to Orlando in a few weeks and have two options for the first year (until we buy a house): Stonebridge Commons in Metro West (which is a gated community) or Morgan Pointe Subdivison of Wyndham Lakes. I keep getting mixed answers about MetroWest. Is it trully alot of crime? I will be traveling a lot for work for the first year so we have to move close to my boyfriends work so he can let our dog out at lunch. After the year is up we will look into better areas like Dr. Phillips, Longwood, Lake Mary, ect... But for now one of these will have to do.
Please elaborate. Thank you 
I have lived in both areas. I was never a victim of crime but did feel like there was a bit more petty crime in metrowest (i.e. break ins to cars and the occasional home)
Over in Hunters creek area I had a freind who had their car stolen from their driveway.... so it is kinda what it is.
Metrowest always felt a bit nicer and seemed pretty but if you were to ask me to pick just one.... I'd go with Wyndham lakes.
However.... depending on where I worked and my commute I would quickly switch to metrowest if my job was closer to that side of town.
