How much oil scent do you use per pound when making soy wax candles in a jar. How about for tarts and votives?
What happens if you use too much of the oil?
In general, you use about 1 oz. (by weight, not volume) of fragrance to 16 oz. (weight) of wax. Most soy wax can't hold more than 2 oz. of fragrance per 16 oz. of wax.
