Anyone know how to make wax tarts?
My daughter bought me wax and scents and molds and I've been experiementing but would really like so right on instructions..am also looking to make some extra cash..THANKS
you put the wax in a glass measure cup and put it in the microwave for 15 sec at a time once it starts to melt you only use 5 seconds at a time until completely melted. you need to wait until the wax is slightly cool before adding the scents as adding it to the hot wax would evaporate the scent. gently mix in the scent and pour into molds since you melted it in a measure cup you have a built in pour spout. let the wax harden completely. To speed up this process you can put them in the refrigerator but do not freeze until completely hard. If you have problems removing them from the molds you can freeze them for awhile and they will be easier to remove.
