how make lemon and honey tea?
hi! i have a runny nose and itchy throat and coughing i heard that making honey and lemon tea will make it better but exactly how do i make the tea?Some ppl say not to add tea bag or tea powder and some ppl do so whats the right way to make it?
It's pretty easy, and yes, it's very good for colds and sometimes stomachaches too.
Just boil some water on high heat (put about 4 cups of water so you can have more if you need it) in a medium saucepan and put two teabags (Lipton is fine). When it comes to a boil, turn off the stove. Squeeze 1 large lemon, or 2 medium lemons (you can use limes as well) and about 3-4 tablespoons of honey and stir till the honey is dissolved.
Put some ginger too if you want even faster results.
Another good thing you might want to try that also helps, is mint tea. Just put in a couple of mint leaves, fresh or dried, in boiling water and a teabag.
It shouldn't take too long till you hopefully feel better, take care!
