Should I shorten the cooking time to cook tarts of a smaller size?
If I plan to make small tarts (4.2 cm base) that originally makes ONE for a tart tin of the size 24.5 cm, should I shorten the cooking time?
If so, by how much?

I think you should, because the filling is not so thick anymore, and it will be baked earlier, I would suggest at least 5 minutes.
