Sceneish/emoish room ideas?
okay im into scene and emo things (sometimes throwing in some punk and gothic stuff) but my mom hates that kinda think so i need some room ideas that capture my style and i can get past my mom she wont let me have alot of black or skulls im thinking about putting some really bright lightning bolts down my wall they will be 5 different colors but after that i dont have a clue what to do i want to mix in some black with my bedspread with out making it black and white i was thinking about a blue and black or maybe purple and black i just really need some help so any ideas would be great oh and also i was thinking about using a paper lantern as my lamp it looks awesome but any help would be great
oh and my room is really small and i cant get new furniture or anything its just paint and decorations
Actually, you don't need a lot of skull to make your room scene and emo. You don't even need to paint your room black. Try painting your room in dark blue, including the ceiling. If you want, you can paint one wall black, or just leave it in dark blue.
Switch your bed sheets into a dark purple color, put in a few really stylish, really unique silver decor, lighting, etc. You can even put in things like a lava lamp if you want.
Another trick that's popular is putting your favorite emo/scene t-shirt on top of your drawer, making it look like a display case. This will also help get your room into scene.
