Create a day of pampering with a Home Spa Party!
Now that you have all the home spa essentials to pamper yourself, how about planning a girls spa day and plan a Spa Party! This a time where you and your friends can get together for a pampering, fun, relaxing time. Planning ahead and organization is key to throwing a Spa Party you or your love ones will never forget and will want to do over and over again.
How do you want your Spa Party to be?
First you need to decide what type of atmosphere do you want for your Spa party. Do you want a formal one where you send out invitations or casual where you just call up everyone you want to come? Consider your budget, will you be providing everything needed or will you organize with your friends who brings what.
Do it Yourself or Hired Help?
You may want to choose hire spa professionals or a masseuse who provides mobile spa services to give spa treatments to you and your friends in your home. Most of the time this is called a Spa kit. You would simply schedule ahead of time what treatments you would like to have done in your home. You can do a search online to find out who in your area offers these services and what all is entailed.
The do it your self options doesn't have to be stressful at all. You and your girlfriends can do things like give each other facials, hand massages, manicures as well as neck and shoulder massages. Whatever route you go make sure you plan ahead to ensure a stress free experience.
Set the mood for Spa relaxation and fun
Now here comes the fun part! Set the tone with candles, essential oils, and potpourri for aromatherapy. Play relaxing music with a spa sound machine. Go to your local florist and pick out beautiful flowers to put in vases. Be sure to have your how to spa books handy for guidance and how to do treatments on each other. Don't forget to get massage oils and lotions for you all to give each other hand treatments and massages. Go to you favorite bed and bath store for hand held massagers to add to the mix. Set up massage tables and if you have a whirlpool that fits more then one person, relax in the Jacuzzi or hot tub.
Don't forget the treats!
Your spa goodies should be light and refreshing so stay away from the heavy stuff that will make your feel stuffed and uncomfortable. A few light refreshments could be meatballs, pasta salad, fruit and veggie plates, fondue, parfaits, tarts, the list goes on and on. Be creative. Enjoy refreshing herbals teas of hibiscus, chamomile, peppermint, ginger, or lemongrass and sweeten with your favorite local honey or agave nectar. These drinks can be served hot or cold. Dress up your tea cup with fresh mint leaves, sprinkled nutmeg or cinnamon. Adorn you cold drinks with fruit wedges of lemon, lime, melon, and strawberries.
Remember this is a time for you and your girls to enjoy. So turn off those cell phones and turn on your sound machines and pamper yourselves.
