Moroccan bedroom walls?
for my room i would really like to have a moroccan bedroom but my bedroom is like 9 by 9'3. yeah very small. also my walls are paint in a really pink andi don't want to repaint them. I was thinking of stapling with a staplegun fabric on the walls loosely so there is a give and it looks like a moroccan tent, but i think that will make the room look really small a feel stuffy, what can I do to make the room look bigger with still having a moroccan style to it.
p.s. i don't want one of those really girly moroccan bedrooms, i want one of those really intricate ones with the candles and lamps and warm colors like spices. sorry i'm asking for a lot but I'll pick a best answer and i'll promise to answer on of your if you have one ; D
thank you!!!!
I think a tented look would make your room seem warm and cozy, not stuffy and would also be the easiest way to bring in spicier colors without repainting. Using the same color sheets or fabric on the ceiling and walls will open up the room. Hanging a few large mirrors on any of the walls, will also make your room appear larger. If possible, put your bed on an angle to make your room seem more spacious.
If you would consider painting the walls, you could tent the ceiling(see link below) with warm richly colored sheets.

Then coordinate the walls with a cinnamon-toned paint (paint color example in link below)

If you left the walls the same pink, just bring the fabric on down to completely cover the walls.
Additionally, your local bookstore's interior design section should have many Moroccan Design books for you to browse through for photos ideas. Here's a few books I found on Amazon.....
