what color work best with green in magic the gathering?
i'm trying to build my first deck in magic the gathering and i really like green so i'm wondering what color work best with a green deck
Sometimes its best to go mono colored so think about what you are trying to do with your deck, a mono green deck can be very powerful and over run the opposition the one thing that can slow down a green deck is mana cost alot of the cool stuff in green is very expensive (mana wise) so a great compliment to it is white, it gives you cheap creatures that can help stall as well as protect you from certain colors and gain life so a green/white is a good idea.
Similarly red is a good compliment because again the cheap creatures and you can burn (direct damage) creatures your opponent until you get your "big" boys out to swing for the win.
Any way you choose you're bound to have fun just remember when building your deck to keep mana curve (cost) in mind and don't loose sight of the original theme for the deck.
