Grandparents: Best international destination for grandma to take 10 year old grandson?
Grandson is fluent in Spanish and English, loves technology and hands-on museums. For instance at the Ford museum in detroit they had the kids make brass candlestick holders using a lathe. He loved that. Just tourist walking, looking and taking pictures would probably get old quickly for him. Thoughts?
Your grandson sounds like my 10 year old daughter, I would take your son to Europe and do 2 or 3 countries at the most, perhaps starting in London, which has lots of museums that go back in time and forward with all kind of things, then to Paris, which has a lot too offer what he will not find in the Us, besides museums Modern and old, buildings , the Eiffel tower and if he misses the US, there is Disneyland Paris, to make grandma and grandpa feel young again. You can fly into London and then take the Channel "train" which goes under the English channel to France , which is a great kick for children!
