I have four potted trees, Fig, olive orange and lemon, what is the best feed for them.?
You can get specialist citrus plant feed, for your orange and lemon plant, which contain the micronutrients that they need, in addition to the general plant fertilising elements.
If you wish to use one fertiliser for them all, I'd aim for a good organic fertiliser, such as liquid seaweed, which prevents the build-up of salts in pots - salts are a remnant from the standard commercial fertilisers: if you use them, water with water only, once a month or so, during the growing season. Otherwise, Phostrogen is cheap (salt based), dilute to the strength that you want, and contains all the elements and micronutrients that you'd need.
You can buy Phostrogen at shops like Wilkinsons, if it's in your area, and is usually better value than at garden centres. Otherwise, they sell Vitax liquid seaweed, which is great for most plants. I use this for my fig and citrus plants, and occasionally Phostrogen. Remember the flush through with just water from time to time - potentially in our rain, if you keep them outdoors during summer.
