Electric, oil filled or fan heater - which is the most economical and practical for a conservatory?
I moved into a house at the end of last year which has a conservatory, however, with no heating. We have finally go it cleared and want to start using it but it is freezing! Having a look for a portable heater I am not sure which would be the best.
The conservatory is not that big and I think it has a poly carbonate roof.
I would definetely go with a convection heater. The easiest one would be an electric unit that you just plug in the wall outlet. 1500 watt should work nicely for a small room. The newer ceramic convection heaters are very small but very powerful. I use one in a spare room that is only 4 by 6 inches and it keeps the room nice and toasty.
