When doing witchcraft why do my black candles....?

...always burn much slower than my other colored candles (especially the white ones) and they're the same kind...??i thought the more color (additive) in a candle, the faster its supposed to burn???

The darker colors always burn slower as the color mixed with the wax causes it to burn at such a low rate. If you look at the wick on a black candle and a white candle the black candle always has a thicker wick on it and this is necessary otherwise the flame will drown in the wax. It's quite normal and you should take it into consideration if you are going to be reading candles.
