When do you light your unity candle during your wedding ceremony?
I am out of practice with getting married..I think I have the first part right ...the mothers light the tappers before the ceremony..am I right?Then what happens?Are there special words to be said?When do we light the unity candle?I need so much help!!!!!
lighty the candle is done after saying vows but before rings.
after the mothers light the candles then they go sit down, then if you have birdes maid or flower girls then they go, then you and your dad, the pastor tells everyone why they are here today and then some one reads from bible or a speacil song then you say your vows, candle lightling ( during the candle lighting have the pastor talk about what it means so that if you play a song you dont have to cut it off in the middle) then song or reading and the rings exchanged, kiss, introduction as Mr. and Mrs. and then recession ( up beat song to levae the church with) fyi- if you are doign any mexican tradtions after vows they do the coins, then the lasso (their form of candles) and then rings and so on
