what is the name of this movie?

Asked this question before but still no answer and I really want to know, want to buy it for a special friend who collects old, rare movies.
It is about a little girl that suffers from migrain like headaches when she sees an fire, like a candle or a fireplace etc. There is probably more to it, but that is what I seem to remember. She is sent off to a hospital/research like center where they try to sort her out, but she is basically locked up there and she does not really like it there. She is very inteligent and manages to escape in the end. Sorry can't tell you more about it, can't remember much more. It is not firestarter, I know Drew Barrymore plays in it, but this is a different movie. It is about 20-30 years old and would possibly be classed as a drama.
Anybody any ideas?

Sorry a bit misleading, I know Drew Barrymore plays in firestarter, but she does not play in this movie.
The only movie Barrymore has been in that has anything resembling the plot you described is Stephen King's Firestarter
