Is it safe to drink hot mulled apple cider when pregnant?
I am 29 weeks pregnant and I was wondering if going to an apple orchard and drinking fresh hot mulled cider (non-alcoholic) would be OK or not? It is one of my favorite fall drinks and I would love to find some fresh.
I was worried about it being pasteurized or not. I have heard that it is bad to drink unpasteurized anything when pregnant. Since a farm would probably make their cider fresh it would not be pasteurized.
it sounds as everyone including myself is iffy about this question. if i was you i would ask my doctor, thats what they are there for! just give him a ring!!
